M$ Planning on Forced XPSp2 downloads?

I heard that in 3-6 weeks Microsoft will be forcing sp2 downloads whether you want it or not.

any truth to this rumour?

that would be bad for me because I still have the AM3, right now I can't even afford a AM3 > 002 rack trade-up at $895.00

Yeah..Dual boot. Then in your second partition just disable the services the MS use to communicate with your system.
