Feature request: Open sessions without plug-ins
 

As a time save it would be great if i could open large sessions without loading all the dsp that they want to use. Just be able to open the session while making all plug-ins inactive would be great.

For instance I need want the tracks and audio regions available for finding elements from a previous episode. Or is this already available and I haven't got the memo?

2 ways you could do this...neither very elegant and likely you are already aware of these options but regardless:

1 - temporarily yank all plug-in files out of the plug-in folder except the stereo/surround mixer

2 - import session data into a new session, in the "session data to import" menu, uncheck plug-in assignments.
