"Can't Create Pro Tools Shared Folder" Crash
 

Hello,

I just recently upgraded from Pro Tools 10 to Pro Tools 11 (Student), and when I try to open Pro Tools 11, a dialogue box appears, saying "Can't create Pro Tools shared folder." After dismissing the dialogue box, Pro Tools quits.

I'm on a 2.66 GHZ Intel Core i7 MacBook Pro running OSX 10.8.4. I have 4 GB of ram, and I'm using an external hard drive. OSX user is Admin.

Any idea what could be going on here?

Repairing disk permissions solved the problem! Thanks!
