Fasttrack Ultra 8r suddenly not recognized by computer
 

I was setting up for a recording session tomorrow morning. Everything was working fine. I plugged an instrument cable into the front jack (while phantom power was turned on) and suddenly PT says the hardware cannot be found.

Fasttrack mixer says hardware not connected. Tried unloading and reloading drivers, tried different USB port. Nothing. Sound via inputs comes out 1&2 and into amp just fine. But computer cannot see it anymore.

One thing, light blinks on power up seem different now. Used to go allred, all green then blink all green. It no longer blinks all green, just all red to all green.

I have a band showing up tomorrow at noon. I either need an answer or have to get a new interface by then UGGHHH

Latest drivers etc. Seems like plugging in that cable fried it.

Any suggestions would be helpful but I guess I am springing for a Focusrite tomorrow morning.

Do you have another USB cable to try? Or another computer you can test it on to verify if it is a FTU problem? Any other changes when it started acting up (driver updates, new software etc.)?
