Link Timeline & Edit Selection Problems

Hi all, i'm intermittently having problems with the above, it just seems to stop working after a while. I've noticed it more since i've been using the tempo editor in my sessions. I want to keep playing back from the same point, it works fine to start with and then just stops. The only way to remedy the problem is to close the session, trash prefs and then restart.

Any ideas???

OSX 10.4.2, iMac G5 1.8 Ghz, 1.5 GB Ram, Pro Tools LE 7
