New Axiom Pro HyperControl personality for Pro Tools 8.0.4 released to Public Beta

A new Axiom Pro HyperControl personality for Pro Tools 8.0.4 has been released to public beta. This update is ONLY for use with Pro Tools 8.0.4; it will NOT work on Pro Tools 8.0.1 or earlier or Pro Tools 9.

Public beta updates are available to registered users of The Official M-Audio User Forums. Please visit http://forums.m-audio.com/register to register and create an account. Immediately after submitting your registration you should receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to activate your account; if you don't see it, check your spam/bulk e-mail folder. If after 10 minutes you have not received this e-mail; contact us and we can manually activate your account. If you are trying to post or download files and are getting logged out automatically, check the box "remember me" when logging in.

Release Notes:
  • Addressed an issue where buttons F2-F5 do not control Mute, Solo, or Track Select.
  • This personality has not yet been qualified for use with Pro Tools 9.
  • There is a known issue in Mac OS 10.6 where setting the peripherals may not immediately initiate HyperControl mode. Restarting Pro Tools after setting the peripherals will start HyperControl. So will subsequent starts of Pro Tools (unless manually disconnected either physically or via the peripherals dialog box).

See this thread for download links and for the location to place the new personality file.

We would like to please ask all users who download these files to take a moment and leave feedback for us here. If it works and resolves any issues you were having, please let us know. If you continue to experience issues, please create a new thread and let us know what is (or isn't) happening. Please specify your operating system, your audio interface, and any other MIDI devices being used. Thanks!
