Considering that early adopters of the 11R would have to pay:

$100 (expansion) + $500 (PT10) + $50 (USB dongle)

to get their PT8 11R upgraded to expansion pack with PT10 - that's like getting a second 11R for $100!

Crazy. On multiple levels.

Nor do I. Just ordered my second 11R from them. Gonna have one that sits on my desk and one that stays in the travel case. You also get an extra yr of warranty ordering from Sweetwater. And since they're out of stock for a couple days, it won't hit my cc statement til December with a little luck! Ho Ho Ho!

Indeed.. I grabbed one today.. They are back-orderd as they told me today, but should be off the truck tomorrow or Monday.. Then they set it up for me there with the Mods,(Expansion Patches), and will be shipped most likely Tuesday.

Got one from them today:)

A pal of mine had a bad experience with the one when it first came out and I think he sent it back. He commented on my FB page "Been There Done That", Funny.. I think it's the setup for studios at least and can't figure out why he did not "get it". Whatever. I think he had some setup problems with his LE system.. Probably did not have drivers updated or something.
I truly think this will be great for my film work here. Seemed great when I demoed it. G

Dang! I just got one from AMS. I wonder if they will price match Sweetwater. Someone told me they are the same company anyway.
