Can two Digi 002 Mixers be used at the same time on the same system in the same session?

Ok let me be more specific. I am running PT 8 LE (PC) with a Digi 002. I saw a good deal on another digi 002, so I want to know if I can use them both at the same time. Would I have to upgrade to PT 9 or 10? Please help.

Nope. Only one at a time. Even with pro tools 9 or 10. Sorry.

As said, it doesn't work(never has). What is the wish here? If its 16 faders, your only real option would be to add a Command8 beside the 002(not a slick setup IMHO). If its 16 inputs, that's easy. Just grab any one of at least a dozen lightpipe preamps on the market. They range in price from about $200(Behringer ADA8000) up to $3K(Focusrite ISA828). Pick a price point and there's a good option(I would look at the Focusrite OctoPre Mk II Dynamic).
