002 with other sequencer

Ok, I'm to the point where I've decided I need to move away from ProTools.
I'd love to keep using my 002, though, and was wondering if it's possible to use it with any other sequencers. Anyone know or have experience going this route?

It is perfectly possible, yes. Just make sure you have the latest ASIO drivers installed.

I tried linking it up with Ableton Live but it just seems to route input and output. It doesn't let me use the sliders or anything...the display just says "Working..." Is there a way to get full use out of the 002 within different software?

The sliders on the 002 console can only be used with ProTools LE, or in Standalone mode.
