PT 6.0 - $75.00 for upgrade or full version?
 

I´m a little confused. Help me out, guys! :-)

If i order this upgrade for my 5.1.1, it means that if for some reason the computer crashes, i´ll have to install PT 5 ad then upgrade again to 6, or is it a full version? Can i install on a computer that has the digi 001 but DON´T have any previous version of PT 6?

When you upgrade you are buying the full version of 6.0. If a computer with 6.0 crashes you won't have to load 5 first...you won't even be able to, since 5 doesn't work on OSX.

Don't see why you couldn't load the software onto a computer that doesn't have PT on it already, but why would you have a Digi001 on a computer that doesn't have Pro Tools?

´Cause I just bought a new Mac and i do have protools 5 that came with the Digi 001, but i prefer to test protools 6 first on Mac OS X.

I hope it works fine. What i´d like to do is to get the HD with Mac OS 9 (which contains the protools 5) and use it just for audio backup files. [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img]
