001 Out levels Left side hot?

Am I doing something wrong, when turning down the volume either through the phones or monitors the left side is always the last standing, the volume on the rhs is gone yet the left still there a bit.
Thought it was the amp, but through the phones it showing me its probably the 001 unless I have done something weird. This is probably in turn affecting the way I hear the stereo image, how can I fix it, is it a common 001 thing.

Any one else had this one??

This is an old topic but, yes, it is common issue. The taper tolerance on the volume pot is poor at the very low end and at the very high end. In other words run the volume control anywhere from 1/4 to 3/4 of the range and you'll be fine. Left to right balance is fine in this range. Nothing to worry about.
