D Control firmware not loading
 

Hi all

I have a d control that has an issue loading firmware for Main unit.

When opening peripherals and initiating the main and 2 fader packs it says firmware need updating. When i do this it stops half way and fails .

The only obvious issue is that the fader is not opperating on the focus channel.

Anyone know how to get around this issue?

Hi,


Have you tried resetting the units back to factory firmware.


power down. hold the solo, select and mute buttons on the first fader (To the left) and turn on whilst holding those buttons.


Now when you re-establish the units in the peripherals menu it should update the firmware i think. it will load the firmware to match your version of installed Pro Tools.


When you check the firmware in the utility menu does it says whats installed? Maybe it is installing and there's another reason the fader isn't working!
