Transfering PT LE authorization on new computer?
 

Hello everyone,

I'm planning buying a new iMac soon, upgrading from a PowerBook. I wondered if I would be able to install Pro Tools LE on my new computer. Will my curent authorization key be fine? Will I have to buy another one or maybe uninstall Pro Tools LE from my PowerBook first?
In short, what happens when you want to change computer? How do you transfer your authorization from your old computer to the new one?

You can install PT LE on as many computers as you wish as PT has to be connected to the hardware (002, 002r, Mbox 2) in order to run. And the same applies to anything you have on an iLok key as long as you've downloaded the drivers to you computer(s).
