Thanks for fixing the Hide Auto-created regions bug that was in PT 6.x

But now you've made the Replace Region command almost redundant! I use it to replace specific regions that has been pasted thousands times in a track - which in turn Auto-creates even more regions.

Previously i would turn off Auto-created regions, select the region i wish to replace in the edit window, and drag my replacement region from a very manageable Region List. Now, Replace region does not work unless Auto-created regions is on - making the region i'm selecting, and thousands of other regions from the edit window, visible in the Region List. This is annoying and totally interrupts my work flow as i have to scroll through thousands of regions before i can find the region i wish to use as a replacement (they all have the same name so using A-Z doesn't help either). Very fiddly. Its almost faster to just copy and paste.

Has anyone found a work around to this problem? Can it be fixed in a cs update. I would prefer to deal with the bug that was occurring in v6.x rather than lose this very handy command.

I've logged this to have it looked at, though I doubt it will be addressed in a CS update, which are usually reserved to extremely critical fixes.
