can\'t open protools le 5.3.3 ..
 

hi:
i just had a problem when opening up my protools application. I use pt le 5.3 version and run it under xp, i pretty follow all the instructions in the pdf "getting started with MBOX in XP",i updated the firmware and changed the DMA thing, but i still can't open it up, it says it has a problem error:

a fatal exception has occur
protools must exit
a log file has been writeen to :
c:\program files\digidesign\pro tools\pro tools utilities\exceptionlogfiles\Log-126972083108430000.ptx

anyone knows how to fixt the problem?

you'll need to provide information about your system.

you could also send the log file along with an explanation to digi tech support.

um do you konw digitech support email?
i was going to send my log file to them but can't find their email

but the thing is would it cause the programe not launching properly?

or do you know their technical support email?i need to write to them about this

I guess i'm the only one who has bad luck to launch pro tools le properly..it drives me crazy..

Yes, the incompatibilities stated by digi often keep the application from ever completely launching.

so what can i do with it?
what if i change my motherboard which has interl chip and still can't work?what will be the next problem? is there anyway that i can read the log file and find out what the problem is?
