Control and Eucontrol versions are incompatible
 

I updated Control this morning to 18.3.0.208 (in the about section) and now am getting this error in Eucontrol with 3.7.

Anyone else run into this? This seems to be the newest of everything...

you also have to install this.....EUCON Workstation Unified

Which not working properly in my config: Macpro, PT 12.8.3, EuControl 18.3, and the latest PT Control.

yep, both PT Control and EuControl need to be on the same revision. You can grab the new installer from your AVID account.

Yea... my iPad auto-updated. I am still on PT 12.8.3 HDX. And, the MY AVID site is down for maintenance. And, I am on a deadline. I use the iPad controller to record myself playing guitar in the booth and it is now suddenly incompatible. Thanks Avid...

When the My Avid comes back online, does anyone know if I can use the new Eucon version on PT 12.8.3? Or does anyone know how to wind back on an iPad?

Guess auto-update on iPad is going off.

You can use newer eucon/eucontrol/control app with older versions of Pro Tools.

When I open EuControl and try to add my surface it says:

"Pro Tools | Control and EuControl versions are incompatible. Please install the latest version of Pro Tools | Control from the App Store and the latest version of EuControl from account.avid.com."

As of now the latest version of EuController is 3.7, and the latest version of ProTools Control is 18.3, and I just installed both.


Can anyone help?

Having the same problem, all latest version of iPad app, eucon 3.7 and unified installed.
Windows 10 with admin permisiion always saying "..cannot be added because is not compatible with the installed version of the EU control..."

The latest version of Eucon is 18.3

installer's name is:
EUCON_WorkstationUnifiedInstallWindows_18_3_0_244_ 101992.exe

That's your issue.
