Please update any firewall rules permitting access to the DD central site

Folks,

Chris Markle here from Aspera with a post central site transition message... If you have any firewall policies that permit access to the DigiDelivery central site, they will probably need to be updated since the central site IP address has changed. The old central site was secure.digidesign.com at 209.10.227.229 and the new one is dgd.asperasoft.net at 75.101.141.64. Some of you (probably the larger companies) may have firewall or web proxy rules that need to be updated. You should permit http (port 80) and https (port 443) access from your site to the new central site at 75.101.141.64.

If you don't, you may see network test failures and/or users that post deliveries will hang at the end of the post operation and delivery emails will probably not get sent.

Thanks!

Chris

Is this something I have to do as an admin on the server side only or does EVERY client have to do this as well?

thanks,

Frank.

P.S.: Is there a way to send an e-mail to all registered users on my server or do I have to click 70 times on every single address and paste the text 70 times into every email?

Frank,

Both the server and the clients will access the central site during their operation. The server always accesses the central site using https (tcp port 443). I believe the client uses both http (tcp port 80) and https (443).

As for getting all the email addresses in one shot, there is no way currently int he product to do that.

Chris
