Slate Trigger 2 crashing PT 19.5 on my system
 

Wonder if it's just me or it's a known problem.

Mac OSX 10.14.4
PT 19.5 Ultimate w/ HDX1
Trigger2 1.2.1
2018 Mac mini

Tried uninstall/reinstall with no luck. It opens, then crashes.

I had the same problem. I uninstalled trigger, then reinstalled the current version. Problem solved.

This has been an issue for a long time. They're testing a fix now.

I've been having issues today too.

You guys wouldn't by chance happen to have Eucon running too would you?

Seems like every time I insert a new instance of trigger it immediately crashes and I have to restart PT.

If I close out of Eucon, everything seems to work fine. I can even start Eucon back up and existing Trigger inserts work.

This is the new Eucon as well...

Using Trigger 2 in several sessions on 2019.5 on a new Mac Mini, OSX 10.4.5; no errors or problems whatsoever.

I got a custom build from Slate that fixed my problem. They are still testing it and don't want to release it yet, but if the issue persists after a reinstall, contact them and they will send you the new version

Thanks for letting me know about that Neale. Reinstalling definitely didn't work so I contacted support.

I feel pretty strongly, at least in my case, that it's due to the new Eucon. If I shut off my Artist Control, or quit Eucon temporarily, I can insert a new instance without any trouble. Then I can restart the Artist Control, or open Eucon and continue on without interruption.

Just got the beta from Slate Support super fast. Everything working perfectly now.

yeah - its a repeatable crash with eucon and slate trigger - instant crash if selected. Given the other S3/Eucon/2019.5 bugs I am gonna avoid the s3 till there's an update - hopefully slate will release their fix by then also.
