Mix Window - Assign to secondary display

Hi,

Is it possible to get the mix window to automatically open on a specified 'Spaces' Desktop on a secondary display? You can tell an application where to open within Mac OS, but I can't figure it out for windows within an application. Window configuration doesn't want to work with a second display, it always just opens it on my main window. Even though I set it up on my second display.

Basically, on launching a session it would be handy if Pro Tools remembered where the mix window was.

Any help is appreciated.

It does.

Drag the mother window across both monitors and place the two daughter windows Edit/Mix as desired.

Then save and close using Alt-F4.

Thanks for the reply.

Could you please elaborate a little more? By mother window do you mean the 'new window configuration window'?

Will this also enable the mix window to open on my second display as soon as I launch a session? Or will I still have to go to Window Configurations and select the configuration?

Also i'm running Mac OS so Alt F4 isn't working.

Basically I want my Edit Window to open on Desktop 1 Space of Display 1, my Mix window to open on Desktop Space 1 of Display 2, and my MIDI window to open on Desktop Space 6 of Display 2 - On session launch. Is this possible?
