Remote Mixing
 

Hi,

I am mixing a film and need to interactively communicate with the director who is abroad. Has anybody used GotoMeeting, Yuma, or similar app to show the Pro-Tools desktop/s and communicate in real time via Voip. We could also have SKYPE open at the same time. We are both using Macs.

I tutor folks on ICON and HD workflow issues quite regularly using Skype and gotoMeeting without too many hassles generally. Works fine.

Thanks, I'll try it. All I need is for the other party to see my desktop including the QT file of the film so that we can discuss the scenes in detail (sort of like a remote spotting session).The director will fly in for final mix.
