Unable to import videos into project
 

Whenever I try to import any video into my Pro Tools First project, I receive the error message "Please Install Apple Quicktime before importing this file. The original file type was MOV, I tried to convert to mp4 and mfx but neither solutions worked. I update my Mac to the latest update (Big Sur 11.2.3) and also re-installed Pro Tools, but that did not resolve my issue.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018)
Processor: 2,2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7
Memory: 16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
Version: (Big Sur 11.2.3)

I am not using any external hard-drive or have anything connected to my ports.

My Pro Tools First Version is 2020.9.0

Pro Tools First does not include video support. https://www.avid.com/pro-tools/comparison

For reasons I and others have posted here many times I would not waste my time risking my work to unreliable Pro Tools First cloud storage or dealing with it's crippled feature set (no video, limited tracks, inability to save to standard Pro Tools sessions, not support most third party plugins, etc.). There are many other low cost DAWs available that are great, and if you want Pro Tools then get Pro Tools Standard or Ultimate. Which you can try out with a free trial or subscribe to monthly.
