Command 8 working with 2018?

Hey so my command 8 worked immediately when I first got it and was using PT12. I upgraded to 2018 with the exact same setup and now it stays offline no matter what I try (selecting/unselecting in peripherals, using different midi channels, restarting, re downloading and installing drivers from the avid site, I even tried hooking it up with a midi/usb interface connecting the command 8 with MIDI in/out and a motu into my mac via usb....)

No drivers for C|8 necessary

You should trash prefs and try again.

Does the system go into utility mode? Does all the fader cal, etcétera?

I would plug the system up via USB directly to the MP.

Also try to change the USB port on the MP to see if that’s an issue

I would also try an install an old version of 12, and see if that makes a difference

Strange issue, I’m still using it under HS (10.13.6) and Pro Tools 2018.10.
Did you changed or added something after you’ve upgraded ? Another control surface? Keyboard ? C|8 doesn’t like sharing :)
