Tab to transient suddenly not working??
 

Just went to start editing some drums and tab to transient is not working. I checked the box at the top.

Im not sure if that key on my keyboard has just died is there a way to test it? I googled test keyboard but all that came up were windows layout keyboards.

Just open up a word document and try using the tab key. If it indents the words in the document, then your keyboard is fine.

Just dug out my old wireless keyboard and yes my tab key in dead [emoji30][emoji30]

Ebay it is for a new keyboard [emoji2959]

Something to keep in mind is that for the most part these wired long keyboards that look like Apple keyboards do so because they ARE Apple keyboards. Last year to help out my wife's eyesight on our shared Mac Mini I got one of those wired keyboards with the large letters on them. When I unboxed it I looked at the bottom and lo and behold there's the Apple logo molded into the plastic bottom of the keyboard. The Apple keyboard is a sandwich of metal on top and plastic for the bottom.

Apple stopped selling wired keyboards a year or two ago so if you want one you have to go third party.

I got a Mac Mini last Christmas and was worried about getting a wireless Mac extended keyboard because I didn’t want to have PT running with Bluetooth. The wireless Mac extended keyboard I got (black) came with a charging cable, so I keep it connected to the Mini with Bluetooth off. Lo and behold, it works as a wired keyboard.
