Way to Convert Session Bit/Sample Rate??? From Within Session???

Ok, is there a way to Convert Bit/Sample Rate from within a session?

I have 20 sessions that are 24/96 and something is up.
They are SMASHING the system, and it is unmanageable.
40+ Tracks (Most Stereo)
I understand this is intensive to some degree, but it is really excessive.
The client couldn't even run the sessions, and they were made on an unqualified setup which I'm thinking may somehow have something to do with the issues.

Anyway

I consolidated a session and imported the tracks into a new 24/48 session and all is well.
I'm just going to convert them all, but wondering if there is a way to just do it from within the existing session since it would be faster.

I don't imagine this is possible, but just checkin.
