PTX 10.1.1 Volume Trim Bug?
Not sure, but i've been experiencing some weird issues In "Trim Mode". here's whats happening: I have existing volume graphs on various tracks, i'll put those tracks into trim mode, when i touch the the faders on my controller ever so slightly to give a 1 or 2 dB push i'll get way more than that, more like 10dB!
if I take those tracks out of trim and do the same thing all is good...go back into trim mode and the same thing happens. What's really weird is that it just started happening today unless I just never noticed it before which is highly unlikely. I'm wondering if the session is corrupt? anyone else care t chime in. Thanks |
Re: PTX 10.1.1 Volume Trim Bug?
Just out of interest, does it still do it without the controller ie: using GUI faders?
Also, which controller are you using? |
Re: PTX 10.1.1 Volume Trim Bug?
good question? I'll have to check this out, I'm using a Procontrol.Next time I'll use the GUI faders and see if the issue still occurs.
I quit protools and re-launched and things seem stable for now, little gremlins playing games, will keep a watchful eye on this one. I'm not running that many tracks only 140 voices allocated + VCA's and busses. |
Re: PTX 10.1.1 Volume Trim Bug?
Cory, it sounds like a Pro Control calibration issue.

Re: PTX 10.1.1 Volume Trim Bug?
Hmmm...how can I determine this out of curiosity? the issue never happened in 10.0.1. could of been a temporary glitch, who knows..., whatever it was it's gone for now, as I stated earlier I quit PTx, re-launched and everything seems ok. If it is a calibration issue with the procontrol what are the steps to take if any at all.

Re: PTX 10.1.1 Volume Trim Bug?
Go to Utility > Test > Fader > Recal button
Hopefully comes good. |
