Avid will the track preset functionality be included in PT11?

So what I'm asking is are there plans to include this functionality itb?

Currently it's working but with workarounds, but does avid plan to implement this as a true function?

And for the record we are talking about presets saved by the user that have certain plugin chains already instantiated on tracks. They can be recalled when creating new tracks via the new tracks dialog.

Everyone will, can, or does use this function.

The workaround comes from what Avid did in Pro Tools Express, so it's on their radar screen. It's high on Idealscale and I think they watch that somewhat.

My guess is yes, it's coming soon.

Very good I got to thinking about the other thread where they were asking a somewhat more high profile question toward avid.

This however has been on the block as a work around for some time - so I was just curious

Mine is just a guess, but it is based on the fact that the functionality is there already, sort of, and I know they see the need. No one knows how soon is soon though.
