Who moved the 'Latest stuff' thread to the General Discussion forum?
Digi....can you explain the logic behind the move?

Roy, apologies for not talking to you first. We're trying to do some housekeeping on the sticky sections (still in progress) in all of the subforums so that there are not so many of them.
For instance, because the Pro Tools updates are all listed in the Announcements sections, we "unstuck" those from the individual HD, LE, and M-Powered forums. I left a redirect for the Latest Stuff thread in the LE Windows forum stickies, which will remain there for a month. The thread url has not changed, but it has been moved to the General forum, where it is a prominent sticky: Let's hear your latest stuff....right here http://duc.digidesign.com/forumdisplay.php?f=3 Personally, I don't consider the General forum a graveyard just because it is farther down on the home page. The Buy and Sell forum is also there, and is one of the more active forums. I think we should give the "Latest Stuff" chance where it is currently, and see how it goes.:-) |
Re: Who moved the 'Latest stuff' thread to the General Discussion forum?
At least this will offer an opportunity for people to compare HD and Native projects/systems back-to-back, and forever put to rest any myths about one sounding better than the other. (A Hobos point of view)
But yea, it will likely fade to oblivion. |

I think that we are going to see some revamping of the forums and hopefully the changes will be positive.
