Apollo x8 with Command 8 and PT2020
 

I've been on PT with a Digi 003+ and a Command 8 forever. Have been gratified that even on PT 2020 Ultimate, my trusty Command 8 is still kicking. Question - am looking at losing the 003 in favor of an Apollo x8. Will I still be able to use the Command 8 for fader/pan (which is all I really use it for anyway). Thanks, Steve

That shouldn't be an issue since you would use the Apollo as your audio interface (Playback Engine) and the Command 8 as a control surface.

That's what I thought, but figured I'd put it out there to check.

Yes with Pro Tools, but be aware the Control 8 will not control the Apollo Console.
