S6L BX_console N issue
 

Dear Avid forum

In our AVID S6L BX_console N display in plug in mode only dynamic section on knobs, according Brainworx BX_console N v 1.1. is mapped for S6L. Any idea how to fix this?
Is it way how to map controls for plug ins on knobs?

In AVID S6L is last firmware.

I'll download this and give it a check, I haven't looked at their page tables for this yet.

Plugin Alliance haven't released the Venue aax installers yet for these 3 new plugins hence why they don't map to the console surface. You have to use your mouse if you install them with the aax dsp installer.

The original bx console Venue aax installer for the S6L last year was mapped to the console but was so unintuitive I invariably used the mouse 90% of the time when using it.

They briefly had a Venue installer available for the bx G when it came out in August. The parameter mapping to the control knobs was much better but they have taken it down from their downloads page.

I've encouraged their development team to get that person or team on the job and map all 3 plugins to the console and release the Venue aax installers. They are great sounding channel strips.

IMHO it's time to open "create the best mapping by yourself" contest and open some docs on how to do that.

That sounds awesome Valentyn, haha I'm into it.

the BX Console series is a bit crazy to map since everything is laid out vertically and there are so many controls, and the CKM is pretty much best for things laid out horizontally.
