How do install the Xpand! plug in from Pro Tools 7.1?
 

How do install the Xpand! plug in from Pro Tools 7.1? I downloaded the software from Digidesign a couple of years ago and knew nothing about the plug ins that came with it and now I want to use plug in's but can seem to find any. The user guide says:

To install Xpand!:
1 Quit or exit Pro Tools if it’s currently running.
2 Insert the Pro Tools LE Installer disc into your DVD drive and open the Xpand! folder.
3 Double-click the Xpand! installer and follow the instructions on-screen to install the
plug-in.
4 When the installation has been completed, launch Pro Tools again.

But I don't have the discs as I downloaded it from the Digidesign website. When I called Digidesign they told me that they couldn't give me free support as this software is too old. It is a very easy question to answer I am sure.

Please help as I am creating some new songs and want to experiment with all the plug ins I can.
Besides Xpand! are there any more pluging that are free with it?

What version of PT are you using now?

It should have XPand (or even version 2) included.
