Replacing Audio Regions

So I started a project with MP3 that was emailed to me. I am knee deep into editing almost complete.

I got the CD of non-compressed audio file Wave file of MP3.

Is there a way to just swap the MP3 with Wave.

I am suspecting that people to this all the time..

Swapping out the audio file in Projects..

thanks

Re: Replacing Audio Regions

How many audio files are you dealing with?

What is the file type of the original audio files? (did you convert the .mp3s to .wav upon import?)

Have you Audiosuited anything?

Have you pencil- tooled any waveforms?

The answers to these questions will help determine if #1- it's possible in your situation, and #2- whether it will be worth the trouble.

Whoa.. that's a pretty big leap to make unless you were sure it was going to work..

I'll be curious to hear how this works out...
