scsi ultra160 disk for system drive and audio drive
 

who in the place to be has an adaptec 29160N and a scsi ultra160 disk for system drive ?

I have it for an audio drive. I have ultra 3 drives for the system. only drive off of the 160 chain is a 36gb 10k rpm cheeta. I dont have any problems, are you having problems with it as the boot drive or something?

for now, I don't have any problems,but as digidesign , didn't test yet, I was wondering if I was the only one using this configuration.
I was about to change and to get back to a IDE system drive like digidesign has suggested it.
So can you give me some details about the configuration you are running with ?
