Digi 002 rack service manual?

Hello.
I have a digi 002rack and my firewire chips got fried. Because avid has dropped the support of this unit i did send it to a technician and he replaced the chips.
All good so far. He turned the unit ON and interface was working but after 5 minutes firewire connection was lost. Chips burned again.
So the unit has a bigger problem and he needs the Service Manual to find the problem. I need to fix this interface.
Please can anyone help me to find the Service Manual?
Thank you in advance!!

Just an opinion, but I think you are spending too much time and money on something that is old, unsupported and is generally bested sonically by any of a dozen or more modern alternatives:o

I still have my digirack002 and sounds really good
I switched to universal audio apollo because of the unison technology
Bottom line there is a lot of inexpensive interfaces now that blown out of the water the 002R more than sonically the overall performance in terms of latency
I understand sometimes we get attached to a piece of equipment I still love my digirack002 but firewire is a technology that is fading away I think you should get one of the focusrite stuff
Scarlett 18i20 would be comparable to the digi rack and dont spend money trying to fix the 002R

if he still using the 002R then he probably isn't using a version that supports none LE hardware.
The real issue is that he could have gotten another 002R or 002 Console for what he was going to pay for the repair.

Putting money into this unit is definitely a diminishing return.

I would also question the ability of the technician you sent it to.
