Getting the spinning wheel and 2 minute freezes
 

Hi,

Since updating to 12.7.1 and HDX I seem to be getting the spinning wheel of death and freezes (graphic) that last for 2 minutes or so.. after waiting all resumes back to normal. Audio doesn't stop.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

I get these on my mac when network drives go offline, but its not version specific. (I get the system pop-up afterwards asking if I want to disconnect or ignore.)

Ah yes, I get that too during the freeze off..

Assumed this was a reaction to the freeze rather than the cause!

Will turn wifi off when PTing and see how that goes.

These happen on Windows 10 as well. I never saw them before PT12, but they are now a constant companion. :D:D

I get this too, from time to time.
OSX 10.10.5 PT 12.5.2, MP 5,1

Here too. I didn't know to wait for 2 mins with the spinning BB... I will try that next time. Usually the whole thing just locks up. If it happens in the middle of a take or playback the transport just keeps rolling along with no way to stop it.
