Left and right arrow keys changed?
 

I use the left and right arrows all the time with no modifiers for go to end or beginning of selection. (for viewing) and just noticed that changed with 2018-12.
Anyone else seeing this? (it does NOTHING)

same here ver 18.12.0.307 .. arrow keys do nothing .. and i do not see a modifier keys that do anything

Q & W do the same thing when keyboard focus is on, but I agree that muscle memory is a hard thing to change.

I always have key focus on my groups so arrows are super critical to my flow...

Totally understand, and just mentioning it in case you weren't aware. I just checked in PT|U 2018.7 and the arrow keys work as expected.

Could it be that your cursor is on a MIDI track? New behavior for arrow keys have been added this last year for selecting notes and moving them.

I really do not like that the arrow keys were changed to select and move midi notes. I used to always use the down arrow and left and right to center the MIDI Editor window or edit wondow. Now when I press those, I often accidentally make changes to MIDI.

Wasn't that. Works fine this morning, I moved the cursor over a midi track and still works. Definitely a bug.

Working as always here - have never seen it not work. 2018.12.0.307

It happens randomly, it's a bug that came out some releases ago, maybe since the 2018.4
