Any recommendations on books or tutorials for Pro Tools LE 8 ?

Hi all, I tend to learn faster by reverse engineering ie working with a built project.

My use for pro tools is for dance music production only.

With this being said.. Can anyone recommend some good beginner books on file set up and basic techniques?

I don't mean theory I mean a real walk trough of a project that's already done and I just decompose it and learn from it?

Does such a thing exist?

Thanks

If I were you I would head over to www.groove3.com and buy a month all access pass. There are lots of great videos that will get you going. I particularly recommend the Kenny Gioia Music Production - Pop. In this, you basically watch him produce a track from start to finish.

The AIR Users Blog is also a good source of info and lots of good video tutorials.

As for books, the Pro Tools 101 book is quite useful.

Good Luck
Paul

i'd also like a good ref book. I've been using sonar for years so I don't need an introduction to DAW but I would like to know how to translate stuff I already know into PT specifics. I see some good books listed on amazon for PT 8 but not LE specifically. Is there a huge difference in the UI between HD and LE ?
