Along with the release of Pro Tools 11 software, we've released 64-bit versions of Avid AAX plug-ins. Avid 64-bit plug-ins also work as 32-bit plug-ins in Pro Tools 10, except where noted as "64-bit only".

The following Avid plug-ins are available at no upgrade cost for existing owners of iLok licenses for paid plug-ins, or free with Pro Tools 11 where an asterisk* appears next to the plug-in. The latest version number is listed next to each paid plug-in. Free plug-ins included with Pro Tools 11 are automatically updated during Pro Tools installation.

**Eleven LE, Smack! LE, and TL Space Native Owners: The Native AAX and HDX DSP AAX versions of Eleven, Smack!, and Space can be authorized by either the full (TDM) iLok license or the Native (LE) iLok license. The LE or Native authorizations for these plug-ins now unlock the full feature set of the AAX versions, the same as the full authorizations.

It is included in the zip for PT11 installer, in the Plug-ins folder.

Yeah, showing hidden files does not show a plug-ins folder in the Windows installer. I've got Eleven and the Moogerfooger bundle to get installed. I only see a 10.x installer on both product pages:

On my account I see a plugins updater for Mac but not for Windows.

Bruce, I see that list but for some reason I am not sure where to get these loaded into. I see the 11 updated plugin zip - are those plugs there? If so, where do they go. I'm usually pretty savvy but this one has me stumped! Love 11 so far!

I just tried the new Eleven and Smack AAX plugins in PT10 and they authorize ok with the LE assets.

Do not use the OSX unarchiver.. Download Stuff-It and use that. Right click on the filename and tell it to open with Stuff-It, (or something similar), and it will unarchive the file properly.

Using the standard OSX unarchiver will just have you running in circles.

I was hoping we were done with Windows being second-class citizens given the bizarre direction of Apple's pro desktop, but apparently we're not there yet. I downloaded the Mac plug-in update hoping it was just mis-labeled, but no. Just a bunch of DMGs. Boo! :mad:

Didnt give them to me. ;)

From purchasing several toolkits and various producer bundles I had a couple copies of each to upgrade. If the updater fixes them so they work with the existing asset that would be great.

I have a couple buddies that will be on 10.x for aahile so I'm probably going to flip them a freebie RTAS plug or two also. PT11 has me feeling expansive;)

Smack LE and Eleven LE authorized smack and eleven for me as well. But Eleven still requires the same CPU load for me as it did in 10 :(. But it worked. I noticed that in windows the 11 installer installed all the AAX versions that I had previously installed (including the ones that I moved to "unused" because my assets didn't include them. But did not install new plugs that I had never installed. If that makes sense

I found the windows plug in updater for Protools 11 is here.

Is the Instrument Expansion Pack available for PT 11? Avid didn't notify me when PT11 came available, although I had paid for the upgrade with PT10! Does anyone know if its out yet? The Avid site says it's coming soon but they said that about PT11 and it was out. Thanks for any help...Mike

i´m so sad that you are not updating
TL Aggro & Slightly Rude Compressor to AAX64bit
these are 2 very cool compressors.
i used them a lot !
and all old sessions with these will not work any more :(((((
very uncool !
how much more plug ins will be canceled (amp farm, echo farm, virus, ...)

TL Space - on this subject will the native algorithm sound the same as or better than using the true stereo tdm algorithms? which sound clearer with my ir's and more "spot on" to sit in the mix IMHO.

Any plans for:
- X-Form
- SansAmp
- Hybrid
- Structure LE

Also:
- Moogerfooger bundle:
I only own Analogue Delay and Ring Modulator. I only installed these from the bundle (drag and drop) BUT it requests "Moogerfooger bundle" on my ilok. I only have the separate licenses.

Any solution for this?

On this page, Synchro Arts says they're working to port Voc Align Project to AAX 64. Hopefully sooner than later.

NO, they working to create a version for Vocalign and Revoice Pro. NOT Vocalign Project LE. Project LE is an Avid maintained product and it is NOT going to be ported to AAX.

Right now Synchro Arts has created a special that will give you 100$ off Vocalign (full version) or Revoice Pro to customers who own Vocalign Project LE. Details are on their home page.

I am in the same boat as you guys as a Project LE owner, and after doing some things with Revoice Pro, I am going this way without a doubt. Its an amazing piece of software!

It's really a shame to have invested in these tools and have AVID decide to drop support.
