Do not use the OSX unarchiver.. Download Stuff-It and use that. Right click on the filename and tell it to open with Stuff-It, (or something similar), and it will unarchive the file properly.

Using the standard OSX unarchiver will just have you running in circles.

I was hoping we were done with Windows being second-class citizens given the bizarre direction of Apple's pro desktop, but apparently we're not there yet. I downloaded the Mac plug-in update hoping it was just mis-labeled, but no. Just a bunch of DMGs. Boo! :mad:

Didnt give them to me. ;)

From purchasing several toolkits and various producer bundles I had a couple copies of each to upgrade. If the updater fixes them so they work with the existing asset that would be great.

I have a couple buddies that will be on 10.x for aahile so I'm probably going to flip them a freebie RTAS plug or two also. PT11 has me feeling expansive;)

Smack LE and Eleven LE authorized smack and eleven for me as well. But Eleven still requires the same CPU load for me as it did in 10 :(. But it worked. I noticed that in windows the 11 installer installed all the AAX versions that I had previously installed (including the ones that I moved to "unused" because my assets didn't include them. But did not install new plugs that I had never installed. If that makes sense

I found the windows plug in updater for Protools 11 is here.

Pro_Tools_PT11_Win_79529\Pro Tools\PT\ISSetupPrerequisites

Is the Instrument Expansion Pack available for PT 11? Avid didn't notify me when PT11 came available, although I had paid for the upgrade with PT10! Does anyone know if its out yet? The Avid site says it's coming soon but they said that about PT11 and it was out. Thanks for any help...Mike
