Old iloks
 

I'm about to try to shift some old PT hardware on eBay.
There were a couple of old blue/green iLoks in the box, which may have old PT licenses on them. Are they likely to be any use?

Are the mentioned licences and green iloks linked to your account?

Historically, yes. But as I understand it I bought a full new license when I stopped using these. In my head there ought to be at least one valid PT licence on at least one of them ... albeit for a non supported version of PT.

To answer your question regarding usability or resale value of these iloks, we must know what's on them. Plug them in to any computer with ILM installed and refer to your ilok account for details.

Both old iLoks were empty.
However, there was a license for PT8 on my current black iLok which happily transfered to one of the old blue/green iLoks. It has the following details:

Product Name: ProTools HD8
Deposit : Date 12/4/10
Type : License
Activation : 1 of 1 activations used


I've also since found a PT HD1 installer CD and a HD2 license (iLok / chip) card.


Are the licenses and/or software likely to be of any use to anyone? eg Would it work with the 96io and Accel Core card I'm about to try to sell?
