Session crashes when changing INPUT
 

Just started running into this issue in a particular session. Anytime I try to change the Input for an audio track, Pro Tools immediately crashes. Before the crash, the Inputs are greyed out, maybe because I purchased new interfaces from Focusrite.

Anyone having this issue? I'm on Sierra OS X btw.

Interesting. I didn't know a companie's hardware would do this. This wouldnt be software related?

Doesn't happen with Avid hardware, so while it is a software issue it seems to me that a 3rd party hardware is triggering it

Or the Focusrite drivers (software).

Followung a couple a month,s this Protools forum and can,t believe that there are so many problems with Protools no matter the type of issue.
Thought this software and and hardware is approved and is for professional use around the world in the big studio,s

This only happens in one session. And when I try to import a particular track that consist of an mp3 using the session data feature, or even a Wav file that was consulated in the precious session, whenever I bring any of those into a new session, the program crashes when trying to change the Input.

That's what I thought until I imported the 2-track stereo file into a new, fresh session using import audio and import session data. Everything else imports just fine. I don't know how I file can ruin a session, if this is the case in this scenario.
