PT Ex & MIDI
 

I am leaving on deployment very soon, and amy looking at getting the MBOX Mini w/ PT Express. My question here is since the mini does not have a MIDI in/out, is it possible to use a midi controller directly through PT or do I have to go through the mbox in order to use PT Express?

You can buy one of these and use it right along side the mbox for all your midi needs. :-)
You'll still need to use the mbox as Express has no ability to use third party interfaces.
