Pro Tools 10 install issue (HD Driver x64 missing) ?
Greetings
New here, and a new Pro Tools user. I have downloaded Pro Tools 10 and I am having a strange install issue. Have a top spec Windows 7 PC (64 bit windows Pro). I will be using 11R and a MBox Pro. I do not have the Pro Tools HD version. However, early in the install process I get an error message along the lines of "Cannot continue install - Avid HD Driver x64 could not be found - installation will stop". What is confusing me as that I did not select an HD option at begining of installation and I am not aware that I need this driver. I am aware I need drivers for the 11R and MBox Pro - but this appears to be different. Any ideas? I note from the Avid download site that you can indeed download a HD Driver for windows - but I believe that is only if you are using HD hardware. Thanks for your help; MArk |
