2019.5 questions
 

Hi,

just installed 2019.5
Lot´s of questions... But I´ll start with these two.

1. I lost all my customised Soft keys with the upgrade.
Saved it just before the upgrade.
When I try to open them it says it does not match the focused app type.
How do I get them back?

2. Trying to get a feel for the new workflow with "Attention most recently clicked Daw area".
Some interesting features here for sure!
But I can´t seem to turn off banking of the console when clicking on lets say a plugin.
When I click on a plugin in PT I want it to appear on the 1st expand knob zone(which they do) but I don´t want the console to bank to that channel.
How do I do that?

Greetings,

For the Banking question, try simply setting Auto-Bank to Track Mode to Off from the User Settings.

For the Soft Keys, were these based on a modified 18.3 set?

Hi Jeff,
Auto-bank IS set to off. Still banking upon clicking on a plugin.

Yes the soft keys are based on 18.3
Any way to import them?
Can Eucon layouter convert them?
Not to keen on having to redo all of them.

Also verify the Tracks page local settings (gear) does not have Auto-Bank to Attentioned Track enabled. Looking at the Soft Keys now.

Sorry Jeff! I missed the Auto-bank setting. Thought I looked everywhere...
Thanks!!

One other thing.
The fader values seem to timeout even thou I´m holding the fader.
Now it just shows the value for the set amount of time then disappears and you´re in the blind(while still holding the fader)
Is there a setting I can´t see or is this a bug?

Please personal message me. I’m not having any issues over here loading legacy appset files. We can get to the bottom of it.

As mentioned on other threads, I suppose you’ll have to rename your xml file to Pro Tools 19Mac.xml

Thanks for the suggestion but that didn't´t help.
Jeff is analysing it as it seems to be tagged as an xmon applet even thou I saved it as softkeys one.

But I managed to find a slightly older version that worked just fine.
