Upgrading mbox2 to Digi 002 rack Question
I am upgrading my interface from an mbox2 to a Digi 002 rack. I have basically mirrored the hook up. Monitor Out L&R, FireWire into iMac from 002 port. When I play audio from iTunes, I hear it from the built-in iMac speakers only. No sound from headphone jack on 002 rack either. What configuring do I need to do to make the 002 jump in and replace the mbox2?

Re-read this and I think my main question is- Should the Digi 002 rack seamlessly replace the mbox2? Any experiences swapping these two units?

Re: Upgrading mbox2 to Digi 002 rack Question
I have the 002 rack and used to have an mbox2 for me it was an easy swap I just had to download newer drivers for the 002 rack. Then go into system preferences and change your playback engine of your computer to 002 instead of your old output.Hope that's what your asking

Yes, exactly what I'm asking. The first part of your answere, downloading the 002 drivers, does this apply to an IMac?

A driver works on all supported machines (including iMac)

Is the Core Audio Driver for Snow Leopard available for download? Not the stand alone version, I already have PT installed.
