Loops Loops Loops
Hows Everybody doing? I was just curious to know peoples thoughts on where to find great loops for pop/rock music. I have Stylus RMX, which is great but all the loops are very syncopated and sometimes too over the top. I know that I can edit them and strip them down, but where can I get loops that would fit into more ballad styles, and less Hip Hop groove oriented music. Other than making them from scratch, are there any programs that work well in PT that you could hip me to? Any thoughts would be appreciated. thanks Brett

Listen to the demo on this site:
Click Here Might be what you're looking for. BTW - You can drag and drop REX files right into the tracks window (makes new track with loop) for ease of use in Pro Tools. Good luck. |

Hi Kenny,
Your loops demo sounds pretty cool, it all seems like very usable stuff. What compressor are you using to make them sound so gushy? STeve |

Re: Loops Loops Loops
What isn’t explained in your post, is whether you checked out all RMX-compatible libraries, or if you’re simply referring to the software’s standard lib. If the latter is the case, you’d do well to check out the additional RMX offerings by Spectrasonics and Ilio, all of which are great, and many of which also feature things more in line with what you seek.
