Looks good to me. Keep in mind that the P5Q pro has had some firewire issues that have not shown up in the P5Q deluxe. Not an issue for everyone, but may be something to keep in mind. Also be sure you have a good backup strategy.

The rig looks okay, but consider an after-market CPU cooler... the Intel stock both looks like junk, and it generally runs the CPU much hotter than after-market solutions. And grab some artic silver 5 thermal paste.

I've had good experience with WD Caviars... 160GB main drive, 500GB work drive. The run pretty hot though, make sure there's some venting or fan movement... I guess all drives run hot though. Tom is right too, make sure you backup, preferable to an offline media that can be storer elsewhere.

And definitely get the ADS Pyro Fireware card Digi recommends... you will save yourself a lot of headache. ProTools is damn finnicky, and its best to follow their reommendations on this. It will also give you a few extra Firewire ports which can't hurt. Then again, TOm might be right; the firewire may work fine as is. The Pyro card is a standard PCI, so its easy to drop in later should the on-board port prove to be skeevy.

Since you are already spending that much on a case, look at the Antec P180 tower. Its about the same price but looks like it would be really quiet. The sides and front are sandwiched panels and should keep computer noise well contained.
