Reason 2.5 and PT LE 7.3.1 a no go
I read posts up here weeks ago with people talking about how once they upgraded to PT LE 7.3, that they lost Reason in the plugin list.
I only have Reason 2.5 but hadn't tried to load it until now. And it is definitely not loading. Says it can't be found in the plugins folder. I reinstalled to no avail. So is it just the truth that I have to upgrade to Reason 3.x in order to regain functionality in PT 7.3 or has anybody gotten this to work? thank you |

Yes, 3.0.5 for Intel-based or PPC Macs whether Adapted or not, but I have heard of some that have successfully used 2.5.
This issue from what we've been told is of no fault of Digi's. filosofem |

I bit the bullet and upgraded to Reason 3.0.5 and haven't had any problems since. It's the best $130 you'll spend this year if you use reason alot. |
Re: Reason 2.5 and PT LE 7.3.1 a no go
I was under the impression the Reason 2.5 simply wouldn't work on Intel Mac's regardless of the version of Protools. As I recall you could install it to your Applications folder but it won't launch. As I recall the first compatible version was Adapted 3.04 for Ignition Pack users.

In either case, the original poster hadn't specified weather their machine was PPC or intel. I'm running PPC and Reason 2.5 was problematic with 7.3.1. |
Re: Reason 2.5 and PT LE 7.3.1 a no go
My bad..... I asummed they were needing to run 3.0x becuase they upgraded to a Intel Mac. I was actually wondering if you had been running 2.5 under Rosetta as it was the only way I could think of were you might have got it to work.
