monitors and headphones
 

i have the mbox, i need to know how to switch from monitors and headphones, to record vocals, with out unplugging anything. can i cut out one or the other totally? is it software or hardware. or am i out of luck. thanks in advance

sadly there is no way to do that with the mbox. what i had to do was get a small 2-channel mixer for my mbox audio outs. this enables me to turn my monitor volume off so i can use the headphones and mic for recording vocals. after which i can turn them back up so i can listen to what i recorded thru my monitors.
