My first 8 scribble strip display is dark and the buttons doesnt function

Hi,

Usual cause of these type of problems is the cable connection to the bank of 8 scribble strips! and also the connections to the power supply on the back? Quite often a really good clean and reseating of all the connections to the power supply will fix these issues.

They sometimes come and go with temperature changes as the connections heat and expand etc, this is usually the first sign of a poor connection somewhere.


If its not a cable/connection issue then it could be something more serious on the controller board for that bank.
