Still no specs on MTRX Studio Avid?
 

Avid conveys specifications like other companies on their HD I/O, MTRX... but still no info on MTRX Studio ......Why? Avid.... are the specification on the new model terrible for this $5k unit? :rolleyes:

Are you in the market for one? It's the features that will sell this not the THD figure. People who need it or could use the features will buy it without considering the white paper A/D/A specs. For all intents and purposes those specs don't matter.

These are available on HD I/O, MTRX, Apogee*
Dynamic range ADC
Dynamic range DAC
Max input level
Max output levels*

All these are not available for MTRX Studio......

All high end companies supply these specification. The MTRX Studio has been designed as a lower cost unit and I want to see the numbers.

I guess Avid could offer a box without specification but have flashy LED meters and the naive will still purchase.

I could find the levels' spec within a minute, and dynamic range of 128dB(A). Those are for MTRX option cards but unless otherwise specified there is no reason to believe MTRX studio is any different.

Sorry, Studio is not same design and components are completely different.

This is what I mean when people don't pay attention and buy based on flashing LED.:rolleyes:

Ask your favourite Avid sales rep then. I would think their specs are the same

There's no specs to compare and they're not the same.

One more time the design and components are not the same :rolleyes:

It's saying I could look at the Apogee unit and say it's the same as MTRX unit.

What are you talking about? Have you actually opened both cases and seen different design? Just because they are packaged differently does not mean the internal card is different. Sheesh, it may very well be same design in different packaging.

Spec by reputation it seems.
However Janne’s link above seems to cover it all
I.e. split columns for difference and single column for equal.

Its still vaporware IMO although I have one preordered.
